another opinion
this will be the first in a series of paintings about conspiracy theories. the idea behind this project is to paint based on someone else's ideas and views and not my own; in this particular case the main participant is bongo. i like the very rich iconography that his ideas awaken in my mind: red roses, gates to the future, hidden crosses and so on. painting like this, i have to adapt to the turns in the conversations, the unexpected visits of new minds and the luck of visual stimuli. i find this method coherent with my party and gig paintings in that these are based both on lack of previous information and adaptation to surroundings, facing the action as it comes and playing with chance and the unexpected. to listen to the sound track, please go to:
